Golden Tee – Cabinet Wanted

Some of you may remember my initial posts about Golden Tee.  Originally, I was going to convert my Leland All-American Football cabinet to a Golden Tee cabinet.  Then I picked up an already converted cabinet running Golden Tee 2K at a frat house for $25.  It wasn’t in bad shape, had a working monitor and board set and came with the added addition of a ping pong ball and some change in the bottom of the cabinet.  Those posts did not get converted in the swap to a new domain because, quite frankly, the whole process was a train wreck.  Regardless, here are a few pictures of the cabinet I was working with:

I’ve decided I want to transition this to a original dedicated Golden Tee cabinet as seen in the flyer below:

The game has been running fine in the converted cabinet.  However, I want to put this in a dedicated, original Golden Tee cab.  If you have a working Golden Tee cabinet with a monitor within earshot of Central Illinois, please let me know.  I don’t need a board set, wiring, power supply or fully populated control panel.  Just a cabinet with a monitor.  If you have one or know of one, let me know via the contact page.

As far as the new addition to the Arcade, stay tuned.  The weather here hasn’t exactly been appropriate for picking up arcade games.  I hope to have an update in the next couple of days.
